Social constructivism
Social constructivism argues that its not only the rules of football and chess, traffic signals and money that are the product of human manufacture, but also the natural world and the cosmos.
Other minds are other minds and what goes on in them only they know and, often, not even they know. Motivation is the subject matter of social constructivism. Its in the air, its part of the Zeitgeist, its what we all grew up on. It simply seems right, natural, self-evident. It seems self-explanatory. Its satisfying, in an intellectual way, because it seems to make sense of things. It seems to fit. In short, it provides the usual motivation to believe something is plausible.
