Telepathy
Telepathy, the transfer of information between people by means other than the 'five classic senses'.
Although not a recognized discipline parapsychologists cover telepathy. They claim telepathy is real, but skeptics say it is a result of fraud or self-deception, it does not exist as a paranormal power.
Psychological symbiosis is a well established concept. Melanie Klein claims its stems from the child unable to distinguish between the workings of his mind and those of the parent. With development it ends, but evidence of it remains in the psychological function of the adult. This symbiosis may have led to 'telepathy' and the belief it exists.
Some people, known as "transhumanists" believe technology enabled telepathy will be the inevitable future of humanity. Kevin Warwick believes in research around the practical, safe technology for connecting nervous systems with computers and each other. By means of natural selection, nearly everyone will have the need for such technology for economic and social reasons.
