Problem solving
Because many of our problems involve others, our ability to deal with people is important in how well we solve problems. Interaction requires how effective we give and get needed help.
Even in a work environment, we can choose whether we offer our full effort or a considerable minimum. The full effort given parallels how close the one asking help is.
Few problems exist where we are islands unto ourselves.
Asking for help and getting others to help requires skill, an awareness of our and other's emotions. There is a balance doing for ourselves and asking for help from others.
