Uncomfortable in Social Situations

Not every social interaction has to have a goal or a purpose aside from the pleasure it can provide. In a social setting, all that's expected of me is to be me. I am more likely to have trouble at that the more I worry about it.

The key is remembering that it isn't necessary to succeed at being social, the success is in the sociality itself, and the only thing that stands in the way of that is worrying about it.

If only I can quell my anxiety over failure can I enjoy the conversation and the sociality.
